URGENT: Supreme Court Pick Coming on Tuesday

Marriage Supporter — President Trump has moved up his timetable to announce his selection of a Supreme Court justice to replace the late Antonin Scalia. He's now saying the announcement will be on Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern time. We are pushing hard before the announcement for 100 individuals to renew their membership in NOM with a minimum contribution of $35 so that we can immediately launch an effort to support a solid constitutionalist being confirmed to the US Supreme Court. Will you help?

I'm in for a $35 membership to fight for a conservative Supreme Court justice.

So much is riding on our ability to help remake the US Supreme Court during the next several years. That is the key to restoring marriage, ending abortion on demand, upholding the truth of gender and protecting religious liberty. The nominee that President Trump is set to announce tomorrow is the first of what could be several appointments he may ultimately be able to make to our nation's highest court. Replacing Justice Scalia with a like-minded justice is essential to set the stage for having a reliable conservative majority in the future. That's why NOM must be in a position to launch an all-out grassroots effort in support of the nomination of a strong constitutionalist.

Please help us be ready to begin to take back the Supreme Court by renewing your membership in NOM. Membership is a minimum of $35, but if it's possible to contribute more than the minimum, please consider such a gift. Whatever you can give, please act today.

LGBT Extremists Going Berserk

Marriage Supporter — LGBT extremist groups and leaders are going positively berserk as they come to realize that NOM is on the march, gaining members and influencing policy. They thought they had killed us off when they got the US Supreme Court to illegitimately redefine marriage in 2015. But we didn't go away. Instead, we've been working hard to change the political environment so that we can restore marriage, while protecting supporters of marriage from discrimination in the meantime. With the election of Donald Trump, we have a realistic chance to remake the US Supreme Court and reverse the Obergefell decision on marriage.

President Trump will announce his nomination to replace the late Antonin Scalia next Thursday. Every person he is considering is excellent, a jurist who will follow in the footsteps of Justice Scalia. That means in less than a week NOM will be in the midst of one of the most pitched battles of modern times.

Please help us be ready to begin to take back the Supreme Court by renewing your membership in NOM. Membership is a minimum of $35, but we encourage you to contribute more than the minimum if you are able. Please act today.

The left, including LGBT extremists, never imagined a circumstance where constitutionalists would control the US Supreme Court and be in a position to reverse all the illegitimate rulings that activist judges have issued, such as inventing a right to abortion in Roe v Wade and imposing gay 'marriage' on the country in the Obergefell decision. They are petrified to realize that NOM is raising resources from new members and gearing up to fight for President Trump's Supreme Court nominees.

Please do everything you can to help us increase our membership strength by making your 2017 membership contribution today.

Show Your Support of Marriage

Marriage Supporter — In one week, President Trump will announce his selection of the individual he wants to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia on the US Supreme Court. He's pledged to appoint someone who shares Scalia's originalist philosophy that the Constitution means what it says, not what judges wish it said to reflect their political ideology. Once that individual is confirmed, which Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has pledged will happen, then we will be only one vote away from restoring marriage to our nation's laws. That means it's only a matter of time until President Trump can change the balance of the US Supreme Court.

One of the most important things that NOM can do until we have a majority on the Court that will reverse Obergefell is to demonstrate overwhelming public support for marriage as the union of one man and one woman. That is why we have made supporting the Cape Town Declaration such a priority. The Cape Town Declaration is a worldwide decree from citizens around the globe that marriage must be preserved and protected

Please act today to sign the Cape Town Declaration.

The US Supreme Court Obergefell decision in 2015 redefining marriage is well outside the mainstream of beliefs around the world. Indeed, only a handful of countries, mostly those in the west, have acted to embrace gay 'marriage' — the overwhelming majority of countries have rejected it. Together with our allies in more than 100 countries, NOM is working to organize citizens to stand for the universal truth of marriage by signing the Declaration. We hope to have at least two million signatures on the Declaration by the end of this year.

The Cape Town Declaration affirms that marriage is the union of a man and a woman and serves as a bedrock of society. This coming together by nations around the globe is truly historic. It's a direct worldwide response to the elitist, politically-correct view that marriage and family can be redefined and reshaped to suit the desires of a powerful sexual minority. Signers of the Cape Town Declaration are pushing back, pledging to support the true understanding of marriage.

Please sign the Cape Town Declaration today to show your support for marriage.

BREAKING: Supreme Court Nomination Coming Next Week

Marriage Supporter — Minutes ago, President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that he will make his Supreme Court nomination to replace the late Antonin Scalia next week. Mr. Trump has pledged to nominate a justice in Scalia's mold, somehow who believes that the constitution means what it says and should not be remade to suit any particular agenda. That means in about a week NOM will be in the midst of one of the most pitched battles of modern times.

Please help us be ready to advance a Supreme Court nominee who will honorably fill the shoes of Justice Scalia by renewing your membership in NOM. Membership costs only $35, but we are always grateful to those who can contribute more than the minimum. Please act today.

President Trump has published a list of potential Supreme Court nominees. NOM's Chairman, Dr. John Eastman, suggested a number of names that are on the list. We are confident that every single person on Mr. Trump's list of potential picks would be an outstanding Supreme Court justice who will faithfully apply the constitution.

It's unfortunate that some conservatives have begun to pick apart the list and criticize some individuals as not being worthy of appointment. That serves no purpose except to indirectly embolden the left. If the left can parlay criticism of a particular pick from some conservatives, then their nakedly partisan attempts to torpedo any nominee will have some cover.

Let me be clear — NOM is prepared to fight vigorously for any nominee on Mr. Trump's list of potential appointees. Recently, some people close to the president have suggested that the pick will be one of the current justices on a court of appeals because those individuals have already survived a Senate confirmation vote. There are seven such individuals on the Trump list, and all would be excellent.

President Trump famously likes to keep people guessing as to his upcoming decisions, and we'll likely read lots of speculation in the media about who may have the inside track. We'll wait for his announcement knowing that any individual on his published list of those being considered would be an excellent justice.

The left, including LGBT extremists, are frantically watching this process unfold because they know that it is only a matter of time before new justices join the Court and are in a position to unravel prior decisions that have no basis in constitutional law — most especially Roe v Wade inventing a right to abortion and the Obergefell decision imposing gay 'marriage' on the nation. That is why many of these extremists are demanding that Democrats refuse to allow any Trump nominee to be confirmed unless that individual pledges to follow a liberal path.

We are going to have a titanic battle ahead of us for control of the Supreme Court and, by extension, control over the future direction of our country for a generation or more. Please do your part to make sure we are in a position to win the coming battle.

We Need Additional Members

Marriage Supporter — The backbone of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) is our members, those individuals who commit to make a minimum contribution of at least $35 annually to support our work. With the dawn of a new year and the start of a new presidential administration, NOM needs to increase our membership to be effective.

We need 500 people to step up during the remainder of January with a contribution of at least $35. Will you help?.

I'll make a $35 membership contribution to support NOM

I'll make a $50 membership contribution to support NOM

I'll make a $100 membership contribution to support NOM

I'll make a $250 membership contribution to support NOM

I'll make a $500 membership contribution to support NOM

I'll give a larger membership contribution to support NOM

This year, 2017, will be a pivotal time in our campaign to restore marriage, protect religious liberty and promote the truth of gender. New Supreme Court Justices will be appointed, important legislation protecting marriage supporters considered and likely passed, radical bureaucrats in the IRS who target groups like NOM removed, illegal decrees on gender reversed, and many other advances for our issues.

But these things won't happen all by themselves. NOM is the leading group in the country at the forefront of advancing our issues, and we must be in a strong position to continue to push our positions. That's why it's so important that our supporters step up at this critical time with a membership contribution of at least $35.

Will you be one of the 500 people we need in January to make a membership contribution of at least $35? I'm counting on your help.

Marriage Supporter — As the Trump administration takes office, NOM is working hard to make sure that marriage continues to be a key issue for policymakers. Elites in the US, including a slim majority of justices on the US Supreme Court, are extremely out of touch on marriage with the rest of the world. Indeed, only a handful of countries, mostly those in the west, have acted to embrace gay ‘marriage’ — the overwhelming majority of countries have rejected it. To emphasize the fact that America is out of step with the rest of the world, NOM is playing a critical role in mobilizing a worldwide coalition of organizations and countries to issue a global decree in support of marriage. Called the Cape Town Declaration, pro-marriage supporters in more than 100 countries are organizing their citizens to stand for the universal truth of marriage by signing the Declaration.

72 Hours Until Hope and Change

Marriage Supporter — Hope and change is just 72 hours away. That’s when Donald J. Trump will be inaugurated the 45th President of the United States.

We at NOM have high hopes in the next administration. While nobody can be certain how Mr. Trump will govern as president — after all, he’s a dealmaker and has never held elective office — we do know that he has made some strong promises that he intends to keep.

First, Mr. Trump has promised to appoint constitutionalists to the US Supreme Court, justices who believe the constitution means what it says and does not change and expand to suit the political mood of the day. These are justices in the mold of the late Antonin Scalia. And judges who share Justice Scalia’s legal philosophy will inevitably vote to reverse the illegitimate, anti-constitutional ruling redefining marriage in the terrible Obergefell decision of 2015.

Given this, we have real hope that Obergefell can be reversed and marriage can be restored to our nation’s laws during the first Trump term.

Second, Mr. Trump has promised to sign the critically-important First Amendment Defense Act into law, protecting the rights of supporters of marriage to live out their views at work and in their daily lives. This legislation must become a top priority of the new Congress.

And third, we are confident that the Trump administration will move swiftly to reverse the dangerous, outrageous push by the Obama team to redefine gender so that men can occupy intimate areas reserved for girls and women, including bathrooms, showers and locker rooms.

Make a Difference at this Important Time

But to make sure that these things actually happen, NOM must be on duty to encourage and support President Trump and to hold Congresses’ feet to the fire. That is why we need your immediate financial assistance.

I’m contributing $35 to help NOM fight for our issues at this critical time

I’m contributing $50 to help NOM fight for our issues at this critical time

I’m contributing $75 to help NOM fight for our issues at this critical time

I’m contributing $100 to help NOM fight for our issues at this critical time

I’m contributing $250 to help NOM fight for our issues at this critical time

The first 100 days of the Trump administration will be critical. This is the time when priorities can be advanced and where issues can be defined. It’s essential that marriage, gender and religious liberty be prominent in the national conversation during these first 100 days.

Please help NOM be in a position to put maximum focus and attention on our issues as the Trump administration takes office. We’ve never been in a better position to advance policies that we care deeply about, and we must move forward aggressively to make sure our issues advance.

Please give generously at this important time.

Fox Doubles Down on Childhood Depravity – Fight Back

Marriage Supporter — The national news media is starting to pick up on our petition demanding that Fox cancel its disgusting new “comedy” show, The Mick. An article by City News Service in Los Angeles notes that the NOM petition has generated thousands of signatures of Americans demanding that the series be cancelled.

Unfortunately, Fox has doubled down on their depraved strategy of sexualizing children in The Mick, and has ordered four new episodes to be produced. The Mick shows a six-year old apparently transgender boy wearing a bondage gag, and also has him wear a dress. The show’s writers script the young boy to say the dress “breezes on my vagina” – a disgusting attempt at sexualized humor involving a child.

We must fight back against this depravity on Fox and deliver thousands more signatures to Fox executives demanding they cancel the show. Please sign our petition today.

Act Today and Sign Our Petition!

One of the “stars” of the new show, Kaitlin Olson, says she’s excited to be in a comedy that children can watch. This is an indication of how brazen the producers of this show are, actually hoping that children will be exposed to child sexualization and gender confusion as a form of ‘entertainment.’ They are promoting the show online using the hashtag #KidsAreDicks, and produced a trailer for the show loaded with the “f bomb” including one scene where characters shout the epithet at each other six times in six seconds.

This is the type of show that Fox thinks is appropriate for children.

Unless the American people stand up and demand an end to this type of depravity, our culture will only continue to get worse. Please, act today by signing our petition demanding that Fox cancel The Mick.

After you have signed our petition, please forward it to all your family and friends so that they can sign the petition as well. We need thousands more signatures to get the attention of Fox executives and the show’s advertisers.

Faithfully,

Brian S Brown

NOM to SCOTUS – Obama Transgender Rules Are Illegal

Marriage Supporter — BREAKING: The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) has filed an important legal brief with the United States Supreme Court declaring that President Obama lacked the legal authority to order the nation’s schools to open their girls’ restrooms, showers and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex who claim a female “gender identity.” NOM argues that the policy is illegal and must stopped.

Read a copy of our brief here.

One of the critical issues in this case is whether the courts must give deference to directives of a presidential administration when a directive is plainly erroneous, as is the case with the transgender bathroom rules decreed by President Obama’s administration. The Department of Education issued “guidance” to the nation’s schools declaring that a regulation allowing for single-sex intimate facilities actually meant that such facilities were prohibited and, thus, restrooms and other private spaces in schools must be open to the opposite sex if someone “identifies” with that gender. Clearly, the “guidance” decree is based on political ideology, not legal mandate.

NOM is confident that we have a strong position in this case. The US Supreme Court has already put the Obama administration’s illegal rule on hold in order to hear this case, Gloucester County School Board v GG, which arises out of the state of Virginia. Furthermore, there is a strong belief among many that the Trump administration will reverse this “guidance” after it takes office.

Whether it be through the courts, the administration or by act of Congress, NOM is committed to reversing the dangerous gender agenda advanced by Obama and his radical LGBT allies that risks the privacy and security of young girls in school, sacrificing their rights on the altar of political correctness.

Our ability to present arguments to the US Supreme Court is only possible because of your support for NOM. We appreciate those who have contributed to fund our work. If you have not yet made a contribution to support us, please consider making a gift today.

Childhood Depravity on Fox

Marriage Supporter — Just when you think Hollywood can’t sink any lower, along comes a TV show on Fox called "The Mick" — which really should be called "The Ick." The first episode of this TV show aired on January 1st and showed a six-year-old boy, who is apparently transgender, wearing a bondage gag. Apparently the producers consider childhood bondage a "joke."

But that’s not all. The episode showed the boy wearing a dress, where he commented how the dress "kind of breezes" on his private parts, which he refers to using the word for female genitalia.

It is utterly depraved that Fox thinks childhood bondage and transgenderism are things to laugh at so they can sell expensive commercials to advertisers.

We are demanding that Fox cancel "The Mick" immediately. Please sign our petition to Fox demanding that they cancel this depraved show.

Exploiting a six-year-old for profit is a disgusting, subhuman act. Allowing such a child to model something that is used for sexual abuse and depraved, sadistic acts is not funny: it’s child abuse.

Furthermore, having a boy claim that he has a female genitalia does great disservice to young children who might be exposed to this propaganda. Boys do not have female genitalia. A boy who pretends to have a vagina is not practicing comedy, he’s exhibiting signs of gender dysphoria, a serious abnormal psychological condition requiring skilled medical care and therapy.

Please sign our petition demanding that Fox cancel "The Mick."

"The Mick" is nothing more than propaganda and depravity from the sexual radicals who rule Hollywood, a further descent into the cultural swamp that has only accelerated since the US Supreme Court redefined marriage. Once the radicals succeeded in redefining marriage, they have made a headlong push to redefine gender — and now they are using six-year-old children as weapons in their cultural propaganda war on gender.

Please sign our petition today demanding that Fox cancel "The Mick," a show that belongs in a septic tank, not on television.

Brian S Brown

A British woman says she will be the "greatest dad"

A British woman who "has been living legally as a man for three years" has made news this week as she is set to become "the first man in UK to give birth."

The woman, named Hayden Cross, says she plans to "continue his [sic.] transition process to remove his breasts and ovaries as soon as he has given birth."

NOM for years has warned that changing the definition of marriage is about more than the simple question of who has access to the benefits of the legal contract of marriage: it is about a shift in social values that places the desires and whims of adult ahead of the needs and rights of children.

Nowhere in the story of Cross's pregnancy is there any discussion of the right of the child to have a mom who isn't pretending to be a dad. Nowhere is there any consideration of the child's right to feed at the breast of his or her own loving mother rather than be bottle fed because that mother decided to remove her breasts and masquerade as a man.

The headline reads that Cross will be the "first man in [the] UK to give birth," which of course is nonsense - Cross is a woman, and only women can give birth; but if we were to accept that nonsense as model, we could rewrite the headline to say that Cross's child will be the first child in the UK born without a mother. That the editors didn't write the headline that way only goes to show the extent to which the media continues to be complicit in enabling lies and a denial of reality.
