The new Marist Poll also reveals that only 40 percent of "nonwhites" support SSM.
Also, more than three in four Republicans -- 76% -- believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, according to the new poll.

This is why we are seeing politicians dropping the SSM issue in many places where they had been pushing for it. They need the votes of minorities more than SSM supporters, because minorities are a larger group.
For lack of a logical argument supporting the loose definition of marriage proffered by SSM, that can withstand scrutiny or hold water, proponents thereof usually end up resorting to name-calling, the favorite being "bigot." Wonder if that strategy will work when lobbed at minorities who disagree with the redefinition of marriage. Something tells me not so much.
I love the username of this poster. Giving the SSM people a taste of their own medicine.
