I think your fibbing John. I have never heard of insurance asking if someone was gay. As a matter of fact some insurance companies advertise their inclusiveness to gays without changing their health insurance premiums (progressive). Also your stats are from what source? Seems like you follow sham and or outdated studies for your information the way you talk about the health of homosexuals.

Oh about that economic growth. Did you notice that the most important fact was left out? The costs of insurance regarding SSM. A little important fact that does not get enough attention.
Homosexulatity has a shorter life span and higher chance of sickness due to disease. I used to sell insurance and becuase of this risk the insurance for homosexuals was higher due to higher risks. This is nothing new in insurance. Smokers pay more because of their risks.
Thus homos are either unisurable or cost more to insure. How is increased insurance costs beneficial to businesses and economic growth. That a way Lincoln with that foolish argument. You put that economic plan togother and watch as businesses leave the state for lower insurance rates.

I live in CT, and our economy has not improved because of same-sex marriage. Hardly anybody moves here, but many, many people leave (as in the post, they generally are moving to states like NC, GA, FL, TX, etc). The idea the same-sex marriage facilitates economic growth is truly ludicrous.
