Show Your Support of Marriage

Marriage Supporter — As the Trump administration takes office, NOM is working hard to make sure that marriage continues to be a key issue for policymakers. Elites in the US, including a slim majority of justices on the US Supreme Court, are extremely out of touch on marriage with the rest of the world. Indeed, only a handful of countries, mostly those in the west, have acted to embrace gay ‘marriage’ — the overwhelming majority of countries have rejected it. To emphasize the fact that America is out of step with the rest of the world, NOM is playing a critical role in mobilizing a worldwide coalition of organizations and countries to issue a global decree in support of marriage. Called the Cape Town Declaration, pro-marriage supporters in more than 100 countries are organizing their citizens to stand for the universal truth of marriage by signing the Declaration.

Please add your name to the historic Cape Town Declaration in support of marriage. I am asking all of NOM’s supporters to sign this critical document.

The Cape Town Declaration affirms that marriage is the union of a man and a woman and serves as a bedrock of society. This coming together by nations around the globe is historic and unprecedented. It’s a direct worldwide response to the distorted, destructive views of marriage and family that have grown more prevalent among elites in the United States. Signers of the Declaration pledge to support the true understanding of marriage.

Please sign the Cape Town Declaration today to show your support for marriage. This is not simply a symbolic act — it is a real world demonstration that citizens around the world stand for the truth of marriage. It is our goal to generate at least two million signatures worldwide in support of the Declaration.

Please act today to add your name to the growing list of citizens to declare that they support marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Faithfully,

Brian S Brown

PS — Volunteers are working in more than 100 countries to generate at least two million signatures of people who support the truth of marriage. Please add your own name to the Declaration today.
