Enough is Enough!

National Organization for Marriage

Dear Marriage Supporter,

The Obama Administration is at it again — forcing a redefinition of marriage upon states and people who have overwhelmingly voted to protect marriage as the union of one man and one woman. NOM needs your immediate help to stand up to the lawlessness of this administration that is dead set on doing everything in its power to impose a radical redefinition of marriage on every citizen of the United States.

Won't you please click here to make an immediate $35, $50, $100, $500 or even $1,000 donation to help us stand up to the Obama machine and its extremist allies determined to redefine marriage?

Over the weekend, it was Attorney General Eric Holder who demonstrated the administration's ongoing and complete disregard for the law. At an event for gay activists in New York on Saturday evening, he said:

In every courthouse, in every proceeding and in every place where a member of the Department of Justice stands on behalf of the United States, they will strive to ensure that same-sex marriages receive the same privileges, protections and rights as opposite-sex marriages under federal law.

He even recently wrote in a Justice Department memo that "It is the (Justice Department's) policy to recognize lawful same-sex marriages as broadly as possible...."

We have to put a stop to this!

In the past few days, I have been working tirelessly to get the word out in the media — calling out the administration on its lawlessness. I've been quoted in stories published by the AP, Bloomberg, CNN, USA Today, Fox News, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal & many others in an attempt to give voice to your values.

It's simply incomprehensible that Attorney General Holder has time to issue directives based on his "interpretation" of what the Supreme Court decided last summer, while lacking the time, energy and will to investigate and prosecute felonies like the IRS leaking NOM's tax returns or discovering who targeted conservative groups within the IRS.

We are facing an epidemic. Executives at all levels from all across the country are abandoning their sworn duty to uphold the law and instead are focusing on imposing the radical agenda of this powerful lobby.

But we can fight back! Remember just a few short weeks ago, when Phil Robertson was suspended by the A&E network for speaking out about his Biblical beliefs? The network gave into these same lobbyists. But the public outcry over their decision was incredible — many of you personally contributed to that incredible victory — and as pressure mounted A&E was forced to reinstate Mr. Robertson.

This is what we must be doing — creating a grassroots uprising of ordinary citizens like you and me who are willing to stand up and say: enough is enough! You and I must demand that the rule of law be respected. You and I must demand that our voices and values be heard!

So, please, take a moment right now to make a generous donation of $35, $50, $100, $500 or even $1,000 to help NOM stand up to this epidemic of lawlessness and galvanize the support of hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans just like you to defend marriage wherever it is threatened.

Those of us who believe in marriage are a clear majority in America today — but we cannot be a silent one!

Won't you please stand with me and defend marriage today?

Faithfully,

Brian S. Brown
