A recent episode of a satire podcast from CBC/Radio-Canada does a great job of showing, by means of a fictitious and ridiculous imagined situation, the serious flaws in some real current trends regarding our society's understanding of human nature.
Just a reminder: this piece is satire. The show, This is That, explains itself thus: "This Is That is a current affairs program that doesn't just talk about the issues, it fabricates them" [emphasis added]. Even so, the fabricated issue here is not very far removed from some of the lunacy promoted in real life by progressives and those in favor of radically redefining marriage and family.
Hats off to a well done comedy piece with an important critical angle.
