Did you notice that none of the major news outlets even carried this story? Yet, its MAJOR international news. Even the Huffington Post tried to be somewhat fair and balanced by posting it. However, it seems to be absent from CNN and the New York Times...
Now looks there were more than 1000000 people who demonstrated on a cold miserable January sunday in Paris. Kudos to the French!
Excellent, excellent, excellent!
Is not that just outstanding....France!!!!
I only wish the US cared enough to protest!!
A march For homosexual marriage will be held in Paris in a couple of weeks. It will be far, far smaller than this march; no comparison in size. And yet watch, every mainstream media in the good old USA will cover it.
It will be just one more confirmation of the propaganda that is in our media, and of the uselessness of our “leaders” in Washington; who are just employees of the commercial world.
The Osama Regime has not instructed the Entertainment Industrial Complex to report this. They will continue to make pariahs of marriage supporters.
Instead, they will give 24/7 coverage to the shocking "news" that Jodie Foster is a lesbian, a fact that everyone has known for 10 years or so.
I'm very proud of the French citizenry for standing up for children and the fact that every child deserves a mom and dad.
The French have more backbone than the Americans. Vive la France!
News reports say many have taken long bus and train rides to get to Paris from the provinces. They care deeply about the family and children, although they are generally tolerant. This speaks loudly I think on the entire issue.
The images are wonderful! A friend of mine noted that there were no helicopters or aerial photography. I don't much about the policies for any major TV station doing aerial photography, but if a demonstration with half a million people (or however many) doesn't warrant it, I don't know what does.
Obviously, since the media is heavily liberal in France - DSK's wife is the typical example of how trashy it is - the TV coverage of people they don't like would never be big.
