So, KC, because I'm legally married, somebody--me, society, you are not clear--will suffer misery, illness, lack of love, and the always vague "family values." So, sometime off in the future, my existing marriage will cause these things? So, is the answer that my non-hypothetical marriage isn't causing tangible damage right NOW, but SOMEDAY we're all going to be sorry? I guess we just need to trust you?

"dreadfully disoriented pseudo-marriage movement." You've just defined NOM. A group of busybodies making it their lives' mission to impose their beliefs onto others. If my side wins, you've lost nothing. Your life will not have changed in any way. You could go on believing that my legal civil marriage is invalid (as you're doing this very minute). This isn't hypothetical anymore. I'm already legally married. What damage is my marriage doing right this minute?

A very great many of your fellow citizens are Catholics. A smaller but rapidly growing number are Mormons.

Another significant percentage are Christians of other denominations.

Beyond that, a significant portion of the agnostic/atheist remnant understands the insanity of redefining marriage along the lines suggested by the dreadfully disoriented pseudo-marriage movement.

All of us have a vote, and this will assist you in understanding the ultimate fate of your cause.

All of this fuss is over a dictionary definition? First, I don't believe that, and second, you've already lost that battle. Many dictionaries have several definitions of marriage. There's even corporate marriage (corporations are people, my friend). And if the Bible and religion have nothing to do with it, why is it that Mormons and Catholics are so hugely behind NOM? You say I have "innocent comments?" Everything you wrote is deeply disingenuous.

The word “marriage” in the dictionary does not pertain to a religious union above and before all else. It simple pertains to a union between a man and a woman. This is the word and the definition we here want to preserve. Religion is an intertwined issue, put separate and distinct. So when you say civil marriage or any other kind of human marriage, we want that to signify what it has always signified – a man-woman union. It is really the dictionary word and definition that is the simple and basic base of NOM's fight. Your seemingly innocent comments, camouflaged by the subject of the Bible and religion, are really the frontal attack on the word marriage that NOM is fighting against. Civil “marriage” to NOM can only be “man-woman” union. Bible and religion having nothing to do with it.

Loved both videos and I hope this really inspires people. I am not Catholic but it saddens me when I see Catholics voting for liberal Democrats who turn around and take away their rights.

Here is hoping Catholics finally wake up and smell the coffee. I should know I live in MA a predominately Catholic and Democratic state. They oppose this and then keep on voting for the same old Dems.
