And as I fully anticipated, Mr Marsh finished with a brilliant, abashed, baldfaced lie claiming there's been a successful push for polygamy in European countries and Canada. Why do Christians opponents of same-sex marriage always have to lie?

    Coxygru,

The gentleman states that there has been a push to extend marriage protections to polygamist; he did not say they have been successful in doing so, but he implied that changing the meaning of marriage so as to reference sexual deviants has led to these expanded demands.

Typical slander, defamation, and bald-faced lies we have all come to expect from marriage corruption supporters such as yourself.

It is, of course, difficult to imagine any legal basis upon which to refuse to extend the benefits of pseudo-marriage to polygamists and polyandrists.

After all, such refusal would constitute nothing other than discrimination.

Pseudo-marriage is not marriage, and once marriage is replaced with pseudo marriage the insanity is merely in its beginning stages........

"the press for polygamy", Jesus speaking about same sex marriage.

I do wonder if these people lie with intent, or are so clouded that they're not aware they're doing it.

The pro same-sex "marriage" defender actually tried to use the common canard that Jesus never adressed homosexual marriage specifically.. (along of coarse with a whole plethera of specifics never mentioned that are as varied as anyones imagination)

The marriage defender on the other hand gave dirrect refrence to Jesus quoting Genesis in Male & Female he created them...and whta God put together no man should pull asunder"

Here and elsware Jesus actually was known to be MORE restrictive (and also more forgiving) than the contmeporary laws Jewish laws of his time. He ristricted divorce and said things like "to even look at another woman with lust in your eyes is the same as adultery"

I like that because it shows just how much a taskmaster Jesus was in terms of sexual ethics. His own life was one of celibabcy as was his mothers. This model became the norm for the monastic life and Catholic priesthood. Both models of marriage to Holly Mother Church "the Bride of Christ" & both moral examples of how much constanance & chastity are needed in (especially a sexual revolutionary) society.

I.E. - there are no seriously intellectual arguments for gay "marriage" fro a Boblical or Christian perspective.
