    As a political analyst from the UVA politics center once said on O'Reilly, "I would have advised the president to continue playing the mushy middle on this issue."

    Funny how the pro-ssm interviewee said that it's a constitutional right to marry the person of one's choosing.

    I'm sure there were people viewing the segment who said to themselves: "Hmmmm.... *any* person of one's choosing?"

    Yes, Ash, I imagine there must be, at least among the more avidly-pursued prospective brides and grooms out there, more than a smidgeon of trepidation at the more expansive interpretation of the SS"M" assertion here :-)
