Less than two months ago Obama led Romney in Florida by 7 points. Now he trails Romney by 6 points. What changed?

Politico's Byron Tau writes:
President Obama's same-sex marriage endorsement makes a full quarter of Florida voters less likely to cast their ballots for him, according to a poll released Monday.
Quinnipac's latest poll of the Sunshine State finds that 25 percent of voters say Obama's endorsement of gay marriage makes them less likely to vote for him. On the other hand, 11 percent say that it makes them more likely to vote for him.
... On the whole, Romney beats President Obama by six points in Florida, leading 47 to 41 percent over the incumbent president.

The poll also found that voters opposed gay marriage by a margin of 50%-40% which probably means that they oppose it by a much larger margin when you take the usual bias and nonsense of polls into account.
This is excelent news as FL is considered a key battleground state that has to be won to win the White House( remember hanging chads in 2000). With Mitt picking up the key battleground states he can insure the White House.
Saw a session on Fox News and how Wisconsin will be a key battleground state.
Let us not forget the last Cenus as FL and the red states picked up electoral college votes while the blue states lost these key electoral college votes.
Obama loses Florida, he loses then election.
Pseudo-marriage is a bridge too far for the American people, and I thank God that its proponents have overreached.
The fact is, Obama did not make this announcement for money, because he already has close to a billion dollars in his kitty. And he did not do it for votes because the people that want gay marriage are in the minority no matter what the polls say. If you do a little research, you will see that Obama himself is most likely a bi-sexual. There are a lot of buried stories about him from his Chicago days and frankly I think that where there's smoke, there's fire. No straight man would push as hard for homosexual rights as he does.
John and Rick: Florida is far from essential for an Obama Electoral College win. Plus, he just came out 4 points ahead in Florida in today's NBC/Marist poll. Rick, you should check out RealClearPolitics.com with an emphasis on their Electoral College map...you"d find it interesting.
NBC/Marist: Obama leads in Ohio
The third in a set of polls released by NBC/Marist today shows Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney in Ohio, 45%-40%.
That means that the polling group has Obama up in Ohio, Florida, and Virginia. Two of those are must-wins for Romney (Ohio and Florida), while one fits in the phonetically clunky category, almost-must-win (Virginia).
Ohio Internals:
a. Adding Rob Portman doesn't do anything for Romney, as Obama leads by 5% both with and without the homestate Senator.
b. Obama's approval with registered voters is 49%/45%, which makes it nearly identical to his rating in Virginia (+4%) and Florida (+3%).
c. There's a big favorability gap. Obama is at +6%, while Romney is at -8%.
d. Obama leads on the economy, 45%-42%, and 76% of registered voters say they'll be using that factor in making their voting decisions.
e. Obama leads on social issues (+2%), on foreign policy (+13%), and relatability (+13%).
Meanwhile, Romney leads on the deficit, 48%-38%.
