Boxer & No. 4 Most Influential Athelete Manny Pacquiao Condemns Obama's Flip-Flop

U.S. Senator Harry Reid, a Democrat and a beneficiary of the Filipino votes which overwhelmingly gave him another term of office from the 2010 electoral campaign, got what he wanted in due time, but not his fellow Democrat U.S. President Barrack Hussein Obama whose endorsement to legalize same-sex marriage has met head-on reaction from the world's No. 4's most influential athlete, Manny Pacquiao, a Philippine legislator who was reported to have visited him in his Oval Office at the White House early last year.

..."God's words first ... obey God's law first before considering the laws of man," says Pacquiao, addressing Obama's pronoucement on legalizing same-sex marriage during an exclusive interview Friday night with the National Conservative Examiner in his residence at the Palazzo Complex in Los Angeles here in California.

Yep, a man of violence, a pro-fighter that beats other men within inches of their lives. Great NOM role model.

Nike endorsed SSM, why didn't Pacquiao speak out about them?

Oh wait, Nike is Pacquiao biggest sponsor. Yep, just another hypocrite. Just like NOM not taking on Microsoft, Apple or google.

Don''t you guys have a 'pro' wrestler who said a traditional marriage supporter should kill themself in a twitter? Just goes to show there are extremes on both sides, but the SSM side seems to have a lot more of them in positons of influence.

David, it is one thing for a person to say they should die because they don't believe with your views, quite different to say someone should die becasue the bible says so.

Both are wrong but not the same.

Where does it say to kill gays in the Bible? That is just false.

Nike is not the president of the United States. It has no policy authority. Not like the President does either. It is a state decision.

Why is Manny not free to speak his opinion? He is a man of conviction, just as those in favor of same sex marriage are.

    It is very simple

    Health and Welfare
Let us call it for what it is Sodomy
The acceptance of same- sex marriage is the Acceptance of Sodomy
There is no room in America for the harmful behavior of Sodomy
    Sodomy is a harmful behavior
Society does not support harmful behavior taught to our children

Anyone who supports same sex marriage supports Sodomy

Good for manny! there are some that will speak out against the immorality of homosexuality no matter the consequences. its time to not just give lip service to being a Christian, but stand up for it and condemn homosexuality.

    Leviticus 20:13
    New International Version (NIV)
13 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Carl, it was Manny Pacquiao who claimed that the Bible calls for gay people to be put to death... Are you saying that Manny is reading his Bible incorrectly?

    @David Argue

You have a point. Recently, liberal cartoonist Tom Toles drew a comic strip wishing that supporter of traditional marriage would die off:

And this is the tip of iceberg. Whether it is supporters of counterfeit marriage (i.e., SSM) sending death threats to innocent girls:

Or White CM activists hurling the N-word at Black Californians after Prop. 8 passed:

Well, now we know why Obama's Black support is slipping. Who wants to side with a President who accepts campaign money from those who tolerate racism?

Speaking of Prop. 8 and pro-CM violence here are more examples:

So, CM activists cannot claim the moral high ground concerning a pro-marriage boxer referring to violence when they promote actual violence and even commit it against those who disagree with them..

Pacquio never called for Gays to be put to death. The Bible quote - was inserted into the story by the writer Granville Ampong - and is out of context. There isn't a single Christian denomination that interprets The Bible calling for the execution of Homosexuals.

We do not live in a theocratic government. Condemnations from the Old Testament (the Jewish Bible) do not necessarily apply to our nation, but some still do. The US Constitution, based on the Christian Bible, has provided unalienable freedoms on which we base our laws; unless we fall into tyranny once again. It is not a matter of progressive, old-fashioned, ancient, primitive, or advanced sense of superiority. These matters are timeless, because of the consequences to society. For instance, the small Jewish nation described in the Book of Leviticus, did not eat pork. Pigs not only liked to keep cool in the mud and in their own excrement, but sometimes carried parasites which to this day are dangerous to whoever doesn't cook the meat well. Objectively read, the book of Leviticus saved many lives, and saved a society without knowledge of Penicillin stay strong and vigorous to stand against their enemies attacks, afterwards, and to this day in the Nation of Israel dispersed throughout the World. Jewish people don't mess around labeling danger as acceptable.

Doug - The entire Bible is The Word of God. The Mosaic Law laid out in Leviticus was rendered mute with the death and resurrection of Christ.

Galatians 5:4 "You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace."

Ephesians 2:15 "Through his body on the cross, Christ put an end to the law with all its commands and rules."

Romans 7:6 "We have been set free from the law. Now we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit. We no longer serve in the old way of the written law."

@jaak. And you and your gay partner will die one day. Then both of you will face Jesus God, and will know then your delusion of darwinism, will not save you from eternal damnation. you won't be dancing then.
