    wow, not a single secular, rational, argument argument against SSM. it does a great job showing how intellectually bankrupt NOM and it's supporters are. they can't even construct an argument that doesn't involve religion.

    Nice to see marriage supporters sharing their perspective in this video.

    The truth is that there isn’t a single, rational argument for redefining marriage; and so it’s good to see that all religious viewpoints are on the table—that one religious viewpoint is not excluded because the opposing religious viewpoint is cloaked under a veil of secularism and throws around the word “rights.”

    It's a religious state and no doubt their message plays well to others and will get them to the polls!!!!!!

    Why use a secular argument when the religious one will work just fine?

    exactly! it's how we kept slavery in the US for decades long after other countries around the world had banned it.

    What are you talking about, nova? Slavery was an economics issue.

    and justified with the Bible, because "religious arguments" tend to fool more people on this side of the pond.

    @nova

    Slavery was not justified. It was a perversion of religion perpetrated by the democrats to gain dominion over people.

    I'm no scholar on slavery in the US, but economics and racism is what I remember about what kept it in place. The Christians perhaps had to account for the fact that slavery seemed un-Christian, but they certainly weren't winning people over to support slavery because Christianity and the Bible mandated it. I think you're a little off your mark there, nova.

    In any case, I say good for the religious people and their faith and conviction.

    The election is just one week today and I am looking forward to another victory again as we fight the truth about marriage.

    It would be great if there were more secular arguments as the secular arguments for the marriage amendments are stronger than the religious ones.

    There is no benefit to society in corrupting marriage. On May 8th the decent people of NC will proclaim loudly if marriage is not the union of one man and one woman then why is the sky Carolina blue?
    Got Tarheels and show the country the truth about marriage. I would be willing to move and live in your fine state.
