Breaking News: NH Journal Reports On Democrats Caught Staffing Group Posing as GOP-Friendly SSM Organization

We've seen this before, gay marriage activists attempting to fake more bi-partisan support for redefining marriage than actually exists. The New Hampshire Journal with the scoop:

The national gay marriage lobby group behind Standing Up for New Hampshire Families has privately used New Hampshire Democrats to volunteer and staff their activities despite posing for months as a Republican-friendly organization.

Standing Up for New Hampshire Families, which NH Journal has identified as an organization actually run out of New York and Washington, DC, has spent a tremendous amount of national money running ads designed to brand it as a Republican-leaning, pro-gay marriage organization. They have even appropriated the iconic red, white and blue Republican elephant in their advertising.

But recent e-mails obtained by NH Journal demonstrate that the manpower used to back their lobbying and allegedly grassroots efforts come exclusively from city and county Democrat organizations.

“You have to participate in either one of these phone banks tonight or Saturday,” directed James Hattan, co-chair of the Concord City Democrats to in an e-mail obtained by NH Journal. The phone banks are designed to trick Republican legislators that gay marriage has mainstream Republican support.

Similar e-mails were sent to other Democrat organizations urging them to pressure Republican lawmakers.

If you live in New Hampshire please contact your legislators and make sure they are aware of this breaking news.

Just more evil and trickery and deceit from this group as all out lies are justified to achieve the means.

Democrats trying to steal elections; Pe Shaw. Next thing you'll be telling us is the Democrats incourage illegal immigrants to vote.

I happen to know for a fact that Democrats tell illegal immigrants that if they do vote they should make sure they at least try to avoid doing so at least three months prior to their amnesty hearings - but if they cannot avoid it then there are ways of getting around that little hicup

Nothing says treason quite like being a lib.

Democrats are the last social class i would trust to defend democracy. Unfortunately, they call themselves Democrats, but boycott democracy. For instance, nObama doesn't respect DOMA, though it is the law of the land. That is not democratic. Downgrading marriage to merely 'friendship' is not as big a problem as lying, and twisting the meaning of words to get their way. That's not democracy. Democracy is based on objective truth, or it is no more than a brain-wash.

You people are sad. Seriously. There are so many flaws with what you say - Democrats don't boycott democracy. Obama's decision not to defend DOMA is not undemocratic. Marriage hasn't been, and won't be, degraded to merely "friendship".

It's always helpful to be reminded of the complete corruption of the opposition. It underscores the simple fact that true democracy requires a vote of the people.

That sounds like a formula to subvert the election process.

If enough Democrats registered as Republicans for the primaries they could cause the Republican party to choose the weakest candidate, so that the Democrats would win in November.

Or, you live in a hopelessly red state and want your vote to count for something. Santorum 2012 all the way!

    Santorum 2012 all the way!

Do you remain registered as a Republican during the Democratic primaries?

And if you as a democrat vote for Santorum in the Republican primaries do you also plan to vote for him the national election?

What about same-sex families? From the title I assume NOM stands for them too? Or do they pick and chose which families they stand for?

You cannot vote in both primaries, at least not in Texas, that would be subverting the election process. If my vote would be more effective in a democratic primary, say after Obama's 2nd term, then I would consider switching parties.

Vote for Santorum in the general election? Of course not. A candidate's position on marriage equality is important, but it doesn't qualify them to be commander in chief of the armed forces and to handle nuclear launch codes.
