Yes Ash. We have been learning to respectfully accept homos for decades and are continuing to do so. But what rightfully woke up the quiet, reasonable and unprejudiced masses is the extreme “promotion” , “encouragement” and “education” of homo activity. And they finally jumped out of their seats when they realized that this promotion was also leading to them losing something which has no direct relationship to homo-unions, but is extremely precious to them - 'marriage'.

When a union where the sex of the other person has “everything” to do with it, is made into a union where the sex of the other person has “nothing” to do with it, the first union simply ceases to exist.

Making a new type of union in the society requires a new word to name it, and a vocabulary to define it. Taking an already existent word and changing the definition is violent and totally unjust to the people who cherish it, and to the realities that define it.

Also this other type of real bodily pleasure being promoted, encouraged and taught as it is, is going to effect and change the behavior and habits of our consumer kids. (We don't need to wait for some highly educated expert and in-depth psychological and sociological ivy league university study to tell us that. Mom and Dad can tell us as much.)

Leading UK homosexualist admits the condition neither genetic nor fixed

Peter Tatchell, one of Britain’s most vocal advocates of the homosexualist political movement, has admitted that sufferers of same-sex attraction are neither “born with” nor stuck with the condition.

Much of the argument upon which the promotion of homosexuality as a “legitimate lifestyle choice” is founded is the paradoxical assertion that it is not a choice at all, but a fixed state of being, probably determined by genes. This is the basis of the claim that opposition to homosexual activity is “homophobia” and tantamount to racism.

Regulation of procreation is in the government's best interest.

Same-sex couples are friendships, and always sterile (as a couple). That's the bottom line.

In Hawaii, we still have the official Reciprocal Beneficiary Relationships coded in law. And that provides rights to domestic partnerships such as that of an aunt and her adult niece, if they need to live together for financial reasons. It met a great barrier, when the Attorney General, here, decided he couldn't pass on the insurance costs to the insurance companies. The same-sex civil unions law will meet the same barrier. Either everyone's insurance premiums will increase, or same-sex couples won't get covered. It's basic accounting math (not Calculus).

Actually, since in the USA we cannot experiment directly on/with humans, it limits scientific progress. (The goal doesn't really justify the means).

We cannot clone human beings, except human cells and organs (potentially). I am not suggesting experimentation on humans (like Hitler did), like on cloned children. I am saying that because we cannot experiment on humans directly, we have to let same-sex civil marriage be allowed in some States so we can use those States as mild, legal, experiments on children.

The amount of pain and confusion created in real people is just part of the experiment.

In the same way, our traffic laws (sometimes defined by corrupt legislators) experiment and it is the main source of premature death (specially when tied to excessive alcoholic swallowing - which people mildly refer to as 'drinking').

If we don't reason and make fact-based, logical, predictions, then we are indeed experimenting wildly with human life, and lives.

The fact that the only a man and a woman can create a baby deserves special attention in a society. It is important because the population needs to be replenished, and it is important that those children who are created have the best chance for becoming good citizens that contribute to, as opposed to becoming burdens on, society.

Couples that implicitly cannot procreate are different from those that can. While they might serve some sort of purpose in society, one purpose that they never serve is to create babies.

Much of human behavior is learned through imitation. Men marry women because other men marry other women; this is an important point, because society wants to encourage potentially procreating male-female couples to get married so that the children have a mom and dad.

Thus, while there are some male-female couples that are non-procreating, they nonetheless encourage other potentially procreating male-female couples, through imitation, to get married.

Contrast this with same-sex couples who can never procreate: they sever the link between procreation and marriage. They discourage marriage for those who would otherwise get married for procreative purposes and/or they encourage men to marry men or women to marry women. Same-sex "marriages" destroy marriage as an institution for procreation and discourage marriages between men and women.

The Hungarians have figured this out; good for them.

CONSTITUTION / BASIC LAW OF HUNGARY
(25, April 2011.) (draft)
M. Article
(1) Hungary protects the institution of marriage between man and woman, a matrimonial relationship voluntarily established, as well as the family as the basis for the survival of the nation.

The new constitution went in to effect the beginning of this year.
Good to see that some are taking this fight seriously.

Question. How could we translate the Hungarian word “hazasodik” into English? We can't!
If this movement is going to steal the word 'marriage' from us, (that which they are doing), than we have to come up with another one if we don't want to impoverish our language, our minds and those of our children. If we don't have one clear word than 'marriage' will not exist anymore. 'Traditional marriage' will simply just become some awkward explanation of a personal idea.
