Christopher Plante to WA Legislature: "Marriage Should be Left to the People"

NOM Regional Director Christopher Plante speaks before the Washington State Legislature.

"[Marriage] is a decision that should be left to the people. NOM is committed to making sure that if [you] redefine marriage ... the people of Washington will have the say that they deserve, that basic right to vote on marriage and the definition of it."

Of course marriage should be left to the people - top the heterosexual people as well as to the gay people - not just to some people.

If this does go to the ballot and Washington State voters pass it, which is very likely, will you go away and let us handle our own affairs in our state?

"... will you go away and let us handle our own affairs in our state?"

A lot of folks feel the same way about Tim Gill and his money.

Gay organizations headquartered in New York or D.C. spend money all over the country to promote ssm.
The *National* Organization For Marriage is doing the same for people in every state that support traditional marriage.

Chris Plante who called the children of same-sex couples "accessories"?

Yeah. He's a real source of unbiased information.

I just became a Washingtonian. I previously fought against the abuse of legislative power against the will of the people in California. How do I join the battle in my new state?

Changing laws does not change truth. Same-sex marriage cannot exist. That special union can only take place between opposite-sex couples.
Same-sex couples who think they are married are nothing more than a Frankenstein-Union.
