AP: North Carolina Amendment Supporters Launch Effort

The Associated Press:

The "Vote FOR Marriage NC" coalition is made up largely of conservative-leaning groups, ministers and Southern Baptists who want voters to approve a constitutional amendment to make clear marriage is only between a man and a woman.

State law already makes that distinction, but coalition chairwoman Tami Fitzgerald said an amendment would protect marriage from activist judges and lawmakers who want to allow gay marriage. Amendment supporters have cited as proof a Guilford County lawsuit filed last month challenging the state's involvement in licensing traditional marriages and, in turn, denying licenses for same-sex couples.

...North Carolina is the only Southeastern state without a limit on marriage in its constitution. The Legislature had bottled up proposed amendments for years under Democratic rule. The new Republican majority allowed a vote last September.

Godspeed to the defenders of marriage and civilization in North Carolina.

Be brave, and remember to tell your fellow voters about the inevitable homosexualist indoctrination to which their innocent children will be subjected- by law, at the implicit point of a gun!- should they fail to distinguish between truth and falsehood, between good and evil, in this election.

Oh look, black faces. That means NOM totally isn't motivated by bigotry. Is that how we're supposed to interpret this?

You are supposed to realize that fact,Bobby, but since advocacy of "gay rights" rests entirely on refusal to accept reality,I suppose you don't.

I am sick and tired of being refered to as homophob , just cause I do not believe in this trashy life style of these ignorant gays and lesibeans,......I will tell you something right now, I would rather have a whole big bunch of afro- americans living around me, then a bunch of gays and lesibeans,....I do not support their life style at all,and I feel it should NOT be taught in any of our schools as accepable normal behavior,.....and that family morals and values are hateful and bigoted.....I have been wished dead for my commets and some have said to me that they wished that I would get Cancer and Die......Oh yeah real tolerence from these kind of people
