Wow....I guess I really had no real idea WHERE exactly Ron Paul stood. Now, I know he is simply an Obama-type in sheep's clothing. He is NOT for America....no way...no how!

You have now lost my support. The constitution is paramount, and Ron Paul is the only candidate who follows it to the letter. His position on Marriage is that the States should decide the matter, not the federal government. He thinks the People should vote on it, and that's what I thought NOM stood for. Apparently NOM thinks it's more important to support candidates who pay them lip service and attack those who refuse to sign a non-binding pledge, than it is to spend my contribution on protecting marriage at the ballot box. Well guess what? I didn't really have any money to spare, but I gave it to you anyway because I believe in Marriage. I hope you are ashamed at wasting my money on attacking the only honest man in congress.

As a Bible-believing follower of Christ who volunteers for a pro-marriage organization, I support Ron Paul for president. Dr. Ron Paul is 100% pro-marriage, but wisely understands the dangers of giving the federal government the power to define (or redefine marriage), thus usurping states' power. Ron Paul believes a better way to protect the institution of marriage is to support the Defense of Marriage Act to ensure no state would be forced to recognize a corrupted redefinition of marriage. Ron Paul was an original cosponsor of the Marriage Protection Act, HR 3313, which removes challenges to DOMA from federal courts' jurisdiction. Additionally, he opposes any attempt by rogue judges to impose a new definition of marriage on the people. I am truly saddened that NOM chose to hide the true nature of Ron Paul's pro-marriage ideals.
