The Washington Blade (a gay newspaper):
A Republican U.S. House member known for holding the most pro-LGBT views in her caucus has endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in his bid for president.
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), who also serves as chair of the House Foreign Relations Committee, announced her support for Romney in a statement on Tuesday that also criticized President Obama.
... In September, she became the first Republican to co-sponsor legislation to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act...
... In a statement, Romney thanked Ros-Lehtinen and the Diaz-Balart brothers for supporting his campaign.
“I am proud to be working with Ileana, Mario, and Lincoln,” Romney said. “They’re conservative leaders who will help me articulate my vision to make America more prosperous at home and respected throughout the world.”

See, Maggie?
Never ever ever trust Romney.
In anything.
That leaves only Gingrich, in my opinion, as GOP candidate for the Presidency. Romney is now desperate enough to court the support of liberal Congressional Republicans. It will be his doom, but his run for the Presidency is doomed, anyway. I can't see Romney debating Obama successfully. It takes a Speaker of the House, like Gingrich, to topple NObama. NObama has removed US military in Iraq against the advice of his own generals. NObama is desperate.
Politics makes strange bedfellows, for sure. And Romney needs all the support he can get, even if he disagrees with the opinions of his supporters. However, endorsements are never free, obviously. I read that Cain was endorsing Newt. I'd love to see Newt mop up the floor with NObama in a debate.
The Washington Blade, apparently, is only attracted to other newspapers of the same sex.
Hopefully NOM is working on a replacement for this most horrible representative in congress. We have been stuck with her in our district for many years and need an alternative to this anti-family person who has such contempt for her constituents.
By the way Romney wasn't courting her alone, but all of the cuban representatives who are important for getting the cuban vote in the miami area. So don't view this as an indication that Rmoney has anti-family views just because he associates with this despicable representative.
