Report: Gay Groups in Scotland Received 10x More Funding Than Church Groups

The UK Christian Institute:

Homosexual groups in Scotland have received nearly ten times as much Government funding as church groups over the past decade.

New figures reveal that since 2001-2, three homosexual lobby groups have received a total of £5.9m. However over the same period only £600,000 has gone to church groups.

Christian groups Solas and CARE for Scotland as well as a national newspaper criticised the news.

    Why?

As an American of British descent I want to know what is the reasoning here?

What was the historical prevalence of sodomy in Scotland?

Maybe there was a reason for all those kilts.

Social constructs built on the sandy of foundation of identity politics aren't self-sustaining.

Government funding for same-sex marriage advocates? Those guys are in deep trouble. Respect their kilts, Mr. Army, because they can beat us to a pulp :) Money draws money. People of homosexual persuasion form hybrid couples, and generally don't want to adopt, so they have some cash left over sometimes, unlike those who engender the next generation, sacrificing through 9 months of a pregnancy, most often for one single kid. Marriage protesters will win a few battles at first, until the majority wakes up. The Scottish would be the last who would permit the desecration of marriage, i would think.

I'm not comfortable with governments funding church groups OR pro-homosexual-activity groups.
