If we said it, we'd be homophobes.
We have no clue how representative Richard and Jeremy are, but gee, does FOX think they could be?

Odd, but Newscorp (FOX's parent co) will make money on SSM.
"While the hacks over at FOX News are busy attacking everything in sight with regards to same-sex marriage, News Corp smells profits. In fact, the embattled news corporation is planning on publishing WEDDING Pride, a high-end glossy which will feature “editorial content that celebrates the Gay Community and its recent achievement.”
FOX used to be so conservative friendly till it smelled money. Situational ethics anyone?
Why is the partner of the main character a "straight" man who was "convinced" to enter the relationship? Is this some kind of weird, gay fantasy, where straight men fall in love with gay guys and get worked over and abused? I also sense a hint of hostility towards heterosexual men, which can be lived out in this cartoon fantasy. I curious as to how many members of that group (straight men) will tune into this show.
@Ash - Perhaps you're unaware that this is intended to be satire. As in, not representative. No, this is not some weird gay fantasy. It's funny precisely because of how far it deviates from reality. No gay man I know wants a relationship with a straight man. And yes, just like straight relationships, there is always the possibility that the person you fell for is an emotionally abusive and manipulative wretch.
@NOMblog - Satire is apparently lost on you as well. "...does FOX think they could be [representative]?" No. They think Richard and Jeremy could be funny and thus make money for FOX. That's the sole reason they'd air this show. They are, after all, a for-profit corporation.
So I wonder what possible reason you might have to mock this new show of FOX and gays at the same time? Perhaps because, like other modern satire, it most decidedly doesn't worship your point of view and your god?
Strange you would mock God Johan; while simultaneously demanding as your right the unalienable rights he has given you.
Hipocrisy truley is the weapon of choice for marriage corruption supporters.
Well, I think it getting high time to boycott FOX, lets start are own TV netowork...
Johan, I understand that it's satire, as in, meant to be funny. But I sense a form of reverse bullying that the creator of the show is trying to convey. Basically, how does it feel for a straight man to be demeaned and abused by a gay man, or something like that. And yes, I still get a vibe that it's a fantasy about straight men falling head over heels for gay men, although many gay men might not share this fantasy. It's definitely a fantasy of some sort (I'm thinking a weird gay one), because of how greatly it, as you said, deviates from reality.
There is definitely a message the creator of the show is trying to convey. And that message is not merely a funny one about gay romance, because they wouldn't have made the partner a straight man. I'm just sayin...
Huh??? There *are* gay men who fantasize about sex and relationships with straight men, or at least particular straight men. Don't take my word for it. If it matters to you, take the time to do some internet research.
I do NOT watch FOX sincwe 24 went off.
Odd as it may seem it kinda fits with an article I found bout how the gay agenda has a plan of slowly and surely duping society into their web (like how so many already have jumped on the bandwagon - all the atates where it is now legal for ssm) http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1147428/posts
This is why we as the majority must continue to preach the truth and bravely do so... Keep in mind people, same sax relationships amount to less than 2% of the population...which the extemeist is trying to develope a takeover of our minds and childen, they will ONLY success if WE LET THEM!
Leo And it seems they are also probably trying to make it seem like there are more than that even. Talking to someone the other day they said everyday you come in contact with you everyday. Not sure how true that really is tho.
K that was sposed to be. - them instead of you
I wasn't going to post until I read the comment by Johan B, and I had to reply. For him to say that no gay man wants to have a relationship with a straight man is pure BS. I have actually read an article written by a gay man about how he and his friends enjoy getting straight men into bed. This guy really feels that all straight men only need a nudge in that direction to take the leap. I feel it's a crock, but he seemed to think his success rate was pretty high! So I wouldn't think this as as much satire as you'd like to think it is. Just sayin'.
