More than 2,000 Christian U.S. military chaplains have joined their Catholic colleagues in refusing to perform wedding ceremonies for homosexual soldiers who want to “marry” their partners. According to CNSNews.com, the evangelical and Orthodox chaplains are part of the newly formed Chaplain Alliance for Liberty, which will not allow member clergy “to perform same-sex wedding ceremonies under any circumstances.”
Dr. Ron Crews, executive director of the group, said chaplains are concerned about the implications of the September 30 directive that allows military clergy to perform same-sex “wedding” ceremonies.

They're NOT required to officiate any weddings, gay or straight. Confucius say, "he who make mountain out of mole hill should open ski resort in Kansas."
If state employees in court houses can be compelled to give out licenses for SSM, against their conscience, or risk losing their job or facing a law suit, imagine, then, the risk for federal employees (which includes military chaplains), if they refuse an order to conduct a wedding for SSM. They're not required to do it now, but if DOMA is repealed? They could face not just a job loss, but a court martial. Slippery slopes are aptly named.
Once gay culture gets up and running in the US military, we'll see a dramatic reduction in enlistments.
Witness the Catholic priesthood, dominated by homosexuals and struggling to find new priests. Straights do not want to join a gay profession, and once the gays infiltrate an organization, they poison the culture. This will not end well for our country unless the sexually-obsessed, in-your-face gay culture is silenced.
Now hold on a minute, Mike.
The offending priests represented less than 2% of the priesthood. That hardly implies they dominated it. You may be confused by the fact that the perpetrators were very prolific abusers and were moved around a lot by the hierarchy creating even more misery in more places.
