The more I hear about Rick Perry, the more I become his supporter. I have heard he's not a great debater but that could just be the MSM who's really afraid of him. After all, they said the same thing about GWB.
Interestingly, PPP released a survey on Kentucky regarding SSM and a solid majority of Kentuckians are opposed. 62% say it should be illegal and just 26% say it should be legal.
When asked about the 3 options of civil unions, marriage or no legal recognition, it reads:
46% no recognition
30% civil unions
21% full marriage
Some will no doubt interpret this as being that 51% support some form of 'unions' but it can also show that a whopping 76% don't want marriage. Nothing for the homosexuals to get all excited about.
See the survey at: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_KY_08311118.pdf
I like Rick Perry's proposed term limits on Judges and GOP congressional capability to override Supreme Court decisions.

what part of separation of powers in the constitution don't you understand?
Rick met with the AFA this past week and other faith leaders to better shape America's future social policy.
No RINO will be considered for a running mate. Only true conservatives will be considered, no so called moderates. Constitutional amendments on abortion, marriage protection and crimes against nature.
Tom, congratulations!!! you've identified an impediment that Rick Perry through proposed constitutional amendments, will fix. Gov. Rick Perry is a man of God to help make government accountable to the people.
The "conservatives" are right about homosexuality, the "liberals" are right about abortion...we don't need a "religious right" president,we need a mostly liberal one who draws the line at sympathizing with the "gay".
Louis: Quite to the contrary. Abortion is the foulest evil imaginable. Those who advocate a "right" the rip defenseless children apart in the the wombs of their mothers and then extract the pieces are so grotesquesquely darkened in their intellects and souls that the only appropriate reaction on the part of civilized human beings is to resolutely oppose them at every opportunity, until their profound immorality is fully exposed to the opprobrium of history.
Abortion is the fundamental moral evil- the slavery- of our time.
Catholicdad, the greatest of evils is capital punishment.Abortion is to killing an actual person as eating a nut is to felling the tree that nut would grow into if left alone.A government killing a prisoner at its mercy is a greater evil than slavery,a woman choosing to not serve as an incubator for a potential life that has not become separable from hers can be sad,but is not a matter for the public interest.
