New Comprehensive Survey: 62% of Americans Favor 1M1W Marriage!

The Alliance Defense Fund has provided a great service to our efforts to protect marriage:

Results from what is likely the most extensive national research survey of its kind show that 62 percent of Americans believe that “marriage should be defined only as a union between one man and one woman.” Fifty-three percent of Americans strongly agreed.

The scientific survey, sponsored by the Alliance Defense Fund and completed by Public Opinion Strategies May 16-19, was part of a comprehensive examination of American attitudes toward marriage. In addition to the national survey, the research included 14 focus groups completed across the country.

... “These numbers are not surprising,” said Public Opinion Strategies partner, and the survey’s director, Gene Ulm. “More than 63 million Americans in 31 state elections have voted on constitutional marriage amendments. Forty million Americans in all—63 percent of total voters--have voted to affirm marriage as a union between a man and a woman.”

“Americans strongly affirm the lifelong, faithful union of a man and a woman as the fundamental building block of civilization,” said Raum. “This survey, along with the nearly 80 percent win rate in ADF marriage cases, shows the opposition has created an illusion of momentum but not a real base of support or track record of victory in the courts.”

Make no mistake: we are the majority! Let's remind the Senators of New York.

Same-sex enthusiasts are completely dependent upon falsehoods in defense of their demands for special rights for those that embrace this pathology as their own.

Arguments in support of reconstructing society to better reflect our surrendering to these demands are reminiscent of a scene for the movie "The Big Red One" where the lunatics had taken over the asylum.

A poll with no revealed methodology, conducted by a rabidly anti-gay group with the help of a GOP-run polling company. Yeah, THESE results are believable. Not.

This poll is obviously biased which is why it isn't being picked up by mainstream media. Fortunately, the real polls prove otherwise. The majority of Americans support marriage equality and the anti-gay are in rapid decline. The only pathology I see is amongst the anti-gay.

If that's true, then why has it been defeated every time the citizens have been given vote?

The results definitely speak for themselves. Traditional marriage is batting 1.000 at the ballot box and you can't do much better than that.

Message to SS"M" advocates who didn't get the memo: equating the gay "marriage" agenda to the civil rights movement is a proven loser that has insulted and alienated countless black Americans.

Insanity is using the same failed argument over and over while expecting different results.

This poll hasn't been picked up by the main stream media because they are the ones who are biased. The media favors SSM, and they are not above putting out misinformation to advance their cause. Don't forget that Rhode Island and Maryland failed to get SSM bills passed because of the formidable opposition against it. That doesn't sound in line with the majority favoring SSM to me.

Notice how the pro SSM supporters pooh pah the poll. Claim it is biased. However when we vote we win all of the time. They know that our poll is true because they try to do everything possible to suppress the lawfull right of the people to vote.
